How to get there

The trail begins at the square "Piazza S.Croce" of Termini, an hamlet of Massalubrense. You can also begin at the square of Nerano (via Jeranto).

Description

From the square “Piazza S.Croce” of Termini, take the country road very downhill descending towards Nerano, with prudence because it is slippery especially when it rains.
From the square of Nerano, follow the road for ten meters in the direction of Marina del Cantone, then take “Via Jeranto” on the right.
You will cross the intersection with the Upper Trail of the chain of Monti Lattari (trail 300 CAI) leading to the saddle of Monte San Costanzo and continue at the same altitude for about 1 km until to reach “Villa Rosa” where Norman Douglas lived and later a votive kiosk embedded in the rock.
After a downhill stretch between stone walls, you will arrive to the ridge of “Sprito”.
You will reach the intersection to “Mont’Alto” and “Penna”, where you have to go to the left. Going to the right you will reach teh same point walking along the beach of “Capitiello”, through a rough stone staircase.
Taking the left, you have to follow the direction to the property of F.A.I. and from this, you can reach the beach of “Capitiello”.
